BEWS 12 has changed IMG media rules
As noted in this article the intention was to fill the drive or hit the disk space reserve. In BEWS 12, the IMG folders will auto expire (once the over-write protection has expired) and be deleted by the Device and Media service if the space is needed either before or during the backup without failing the job.
