On versions of Backup Exec from 7.3 up to 10d, ExecView is an optional component which allows you to monitor (but not administer) one or more Backup Exec servers. ExecView was discontinued for Backup Exec 11d.
For users of Backup Exec 11d and later there does not appear to be an equivalent function. Using ExecView (supplied with an earlier version) with Backup Exec 11d is not supported. An alternative option may be to use the Central Admin Server Option, though this is a cost option. |
