Backup Exec 12 crashes when setting up notification

After installing or upgrading to Backup Exec 12, when trying to configure email and pager notification, the administration console crashes. To resolve this problem, run a repair on the installation, which fixes the problem.
This has now been patched by a Hotfix, so if you run Liveupdate the problem should not occur.
